The Founder

Hey, Hey!

I’m Shawana, the COO of our “family business”—a title I proudly wear alongside my roles as a wife, mother to five (four girls, one boy), and caregiver to our fur baby Pitbull (yes, life is as crazy as it sounds!). Our kids span the ages of 8 to 27, so I’m juggling various age ranges. And yes, despite all of that, I still found room to take on more challenges, with God guiding me every step of the way.

Professionally, I’m a Notary, Certified Signing Agent, and Managing Landlord. I’ve been a homeowner for over a decade, I’ve managed multiple properties as both a landlord and property manager. Before diving into real estate, I spent 12 years in the administration and construction field, which makes me uniquely versatile in balancing diverse industries.

Financial literacy is at the heart of everything I do, which is why I joined New W.E.A.L.T.H. University. Two pivotal books that transformed my family’s finances—both personally and in business—are:

Funny enough, as a child, you couldn’t pay me to go to the library! But now, I see the importance of reading not only for lifelong learning but also for business growth. That’s why I’m an active member of a book club, where I proudly serve as the Treasurer. Each month, I gather with seven amazing S.I.S.T.A.H.S., and together, we share ideas, inspiration, and accountability for continued growth.
